Your selected payment method will be authorized and charged when your order is successfully placed.
For customers using installment payment options such as Klarna or Shop Pay Installments:
- Your payment provider will manage approval payment schedules and repayment terms.
- BookNookGifts receives payment from the provider and processes your order normally.
- Any interest fees or payment conditions are determined by the installment provider.
Please review the terms provided by your selected payment provider before completing your purchase.
3. Order Confirmation & Acceptance
After completing checkout you will receive an order confirmation email.
Please note that receiving an order confirmation does not guarantee final acceptance of your order.
BookNookGifts reserves the right to review modify or cancel orders before shipment in situations including:
- Suspected fraudulent activity
- Unauthorized payment use
- Incorrect pricing or product information
- Inventory limitations
- Unable to verify billing or shipping information
- Shipping restrictions caused by local regulations
If we cancel an order before shipment you will receive a full refund to your original payment method.
Refund processing typically takes 5–7 business days depending on your payment provider.
4. Pricing & Currency
All prices displayed on our website are listed in U.S. Dollars (USD) unless otherwise stated.
Prices may change at any time. However the price shown at checkout when your order is completed will be the final price charged.
Promotional offers discount codes and special pricing:
- Apply only during the stated promotional period
- May only apply to eligible products
- Cannot be combined unless specifically stated
- Cannot be applied retroactively to previous orders
While we carefully review all product information and pricing occasional errors may occur. If an incorrect price affects your order we will contact you before processing the order and provide the option to continue or receive a full refund.
5. Taxes Customs & Import Fees
Applicable sales taxes will be calculated automatically during checkout based on your shipping location.
For international orders your local customs authority may apply:

These fees are the responsibility of the customer and are determined by local regulations.
BookNookGifts does not control or reimburse customs charges.

If a chargeback is submitted after a successful resolution refund replacement or delivery confirmation has been provided we may provide supporting documentation to the payment processor including:

10. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be returned to the original payment method.
Refund timing:
- Processing time: 5–7 business days from approval
- Additional bank processing time may apply depending on your payment provider
For installment payments through Klarna or Shop Pay Installments, refunds are handled through the applicable payment provider who will update your remaining payment schedule.
11. Subscription & Recurring Payments
BookNookGifts does not currently offer subscription products or recurring billing services.
All purchases are one-time transactions.
You will only be charged for the products purchased during checkout and we will never enroll you into recurring payments without your explicit permission.
